10,000_Tradition_1st_Year

I've seen other artists post work for 10,000 page views and it seems like a good tradition.

(Granted, I have a lot of other peoples work in my collections so many of my pageviews are from people thanking me, but I still think that the 10,000 views is a nice milestone.)

I don't plan to do another one of these until I hit 100,000 because I've had to put too many other ideas on hold.

What else is there?

This piece is a tribute to my other work. A bold statement about the type of art and photography I enjoy.

Bubble butts. Dark stars. Long hair. These are the quintessence of what keeps me interested in a piece long enough to finish it.

When I started, I wanted to paint something quick and loose. Something simple as a thanks to everyone here on DA that has an eye for beauty. DA has made my life more enjoyable and I really appreciate the support I've received.

What I ended up doing was obsessing over every line and color choice and getting another 1500 pageviews in the process.

Better late than never. I have a hard time showing the world something when I know I can make it better.

I renewed my Premium Subscription tonight, so the timing is just right to post a milestone piece.

I sincerely hope you have an open mind and can enjoy this.

I look forward to sharing more.

My next painting is going to 'shock' you.
